Dr. Bob Webster - Senior Pastor

Bob and Joyce Webster are both native Southern Californians who have forty years of experience in vocational ministry. A product of the Jesus Movement in the late 60’s, Bob began his ministry experience by opening up the Solid Rock Foundation, a Christian Coffee House in Whittier at the age of 19.  Since that beginning, he has served as a Youth Pastor, Senior Pastor, cross-cultural missionary and church planter.  The Websters returned to the U.S. in 1995, after eight years of training church leaders throughout Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union to plant Foothills Community Church.  Bob is a graduate of Talbot Theological Seminary and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree in Transformational Leadership for Multiplication Movements from Bakke Graduate University.  He has authored the book, Growing Churches for God’s Glory, that has been translated into five languages.  

Joyce Webster – Director of Ministry and Administration

Joyce is a gifted leader and Bible teacher.  She holds a B.A. and M.A. from Azusa Pacific University and has been on the staffs of four churches.  Joyce was involved in women’s ministries in the Czech Republic and Poland for six years.  She is a contributor to Devotions for Ministry Wives and writes much of the material we use in our Sunday Celebrations.  She taught 5th grade at Pasadena Christian School for ten years prior to joining our staff.

The Websters have five grown children and ten beautiful grandchildren.

Joel & Rad Vasile & Family 

Joel Vasile and his family began attending Foothills in January of 2000 and Joel soon became part of our Worship Team. Joel is an accomplished musician with over 30 years of experience playing the guitar, and has been our Worship Leader since January of 2003. Joel is in the automotive repair business and owns Tyreman’s Automotive in Burbank. Joel, and his wife, Rad, have been married for more than 20 years and have two great children, Cassy and Nick.

 

Tim & Meagan Gray

Tim Gray – Pastor to Children and Youth

Timothy Gray is a native Californian, living and growing up in the Pasadena area.  Being brought up in a Christian home and at First Church of the Nazarene Pasadena, Christ and a Christian Community have always been a corner stone of his life. 

Starting off his service for the Lord at First Church, he had the responsibility of the youngest children, overseeing and running the infant/toddler nursery.  For the past five years he has had the privilege and honor of working at Pasadena Christian School, fulfilling many roles from day care staff member to summer camp coordinator, to his present role as a full time preschool teacher.  Growing up in a church and as part of a youth group, Tim knows and understands the importance of committing your life at an early age to God and all he has to offer.  Tim is newly married to the former Meagan Drake.
